Helena has been singing and performing from a very young age. Before turning professional her repertoire was already second to none and her uniquely haunting voice was widely known and well loved across the Isle of Wight where she had grown up. She has won several talent competitions and awards across the UK, always impressing the judges by singing in her own spell binding style, putting her ‘own spin’ on everything she sang with a fantastic vocal range. Over the years she has had plenty of experience in the music industry. She has recorded tracks as a Session Singer in London Studios as well as being short listed down to the final five, from a total of over fifteen thousand, who auditioned for a girl band. She was also offered a music & dance scholarship for a large production company.

Now residing in Bournemouth, The daughter of Rob Atkins, lead singer and bassist from 60’s rock band Neon Rainbow and Sidewinder, Helena has been brought up in the music and entertainment world and was influenced in her early years from artists such as Blondie and Madonna to bands such as Evanescence and Nightwish. She released her debut album ‘Enlightened’ which is now selling on download and has radio airplay worldwide. Helena has worked with various stars on charity projects for children in poverty such as Dave Cousins (The Strawbs), Sandra from Enigma and Manfred Manns Earthband to name a few. Her dance mix of the title track reached number 6 in the new download chart and has had radio play worldwide.

She is now working with new song writers John Kinsella and Stuart O Loughlin from Wexford, Ireland and the new single ‘Promise’ from her second album has recently been released. Her highly anticipated new album is released this year with the second single New Beginning being released in the Spring. She is now working with producers in Japan as well at the UK and Ireland and has worked hard to receive a record deal.

Helena also write for other artists and labels and wrote the single for the Star Sensations Little Stars winner also due to be released in the Spring 2012.
