Kirsten won a Record Deal with Star Sensations 2011, as our Little Stars Winner, and will be sitting on the judge’s table as our Guest Little Stars Grand Final Judge!
Kirsten Orsborn, age 15yrs, has appeared in many things from stage to TV and she performed in Joseph at the Grand Theatre Swansea. She was very proud to perform alongside Tommy Steele in Doctor Doolittle at the New Theatre Cardiff. Kirsten has done many shows for various different charities, is currently studying for her grade 6 singing exam for the London Academy of Music, and is also studying her GCSE’s. She also loves being in the school choir, chamber choir and year 11 music band.
Kirsten won Search for a Star in 2007 and won Best All Round Performer in 2008 with a drama school. In 2009 she went on to win a large talent competition and has sang at St David’s Hall Cardiff. Kirsten sang at the Christmas Lights in her hometown of Neath. Kirsten recently performed in the musical based on the show ‘Glee’.
Kirsten is really proud to have launched a Charity CD for Epilepsy, called These Wonderful Souls. This was made with four other singers, one of them being brother Darren, who was one of the reasons Kirsten, at the age of 6, got up to sing and she has never looked back since, and hence her brother has become an inspiration for her.
She has received an Award from the Seaside Social in Port Talbot for the Best Upcoming Female Vocalist of the Year 2010.We were all really proud when Kirsten performed at the launch of the new Loughor Lifeboat and sang our Welsh National Anthem, it was a very proud moment.
Recently she recorded an Album called “If I Could”, produced by songwriter Dean Jablonski and who also wrote all the songs on the album which can be found on CDBaby, ITunes and many other outlets. Kirsten was asked to perform at the armed forces day 25th June in Sunderland where she performed an original song that has been written for her for the heroes “Tribute to Fallen Heroes”, also on her new album.
